Abrams History
Real Estate Investment & Development
Matthew Abrams was a leasing broker at Cushman & Wakefield with a dream to build a real estate development company. So with the help of his family he was able to build his first project-the gut rehabilitation of a 4,500 square foot row-house in Brookline, MA. The project was a success and The Abrams Group was born. From there he began converting 3-6 family buildings in The South End, South Boston and Dorchester into condominiums.
From these modest beginnings, Matthew went on to develop ever larger and more challenging projects across Massachusetts. Since that first Townhouse, Abrams Properties has grown into a reputable player in the niche market of redeveloping historic properties.
Whether transforming an Historic Shoe Factory into luxury condominiums or acquiring a partially leased office building, Abrams Properties implements a hands on yet sophisticated approach to all their projects.
