Matthew Abrams - Founder
Mr. Abrams has over 15 years of experience in commercial and residential real estate investment, development, management and brokerage. Prior to starting Abrams Properties, Matthew was the founder of The Abrams Group, where he developed numerous projects including the conversion of 10 Seaport Drive, Quincy, MA into 108 luxury condominiums; the conversion of 160 Fremont Street, Worcester, MA into 97 condominiums; the conversion of The Giant Department Store at 305 Dutton Street, Lowell, MA into 136 loft style apartments; as well as the redevelopment of several other residential and commerical properties.
Prior to Founding The Abrams Group and Abrams Properties, Inc, Mr. Abrams was a Vice President at Bluestone Holdings. During his tenure with the firm, Mr. Abrams was responsible for the acquisition of 340,000 square feet of Class A office space on Route 128 with an aggregate value of $70 million. Prior to Bluestone, Matthew was a commercial sales and leasing broker for Cushman & Wakefield of Massachusetts, focusing on the Route 128 Suburban Office Market.
Don McGill - VP of Construction
Don has extensive experience in consulting, project management and hands on supervision of construction projects. Prior to joining Abrams Properties, Don provided project consulting and management to clients across the eastern seaboard.
As project manager at College Street LLC, Don was personally responsible for managing construction projects in excess of 25 million, including the leading the renovation of a 400,000 Sqft fabric into luxury condominium development with 175 units.
At Harvard University, Don played a key role in the implementation of campus-wide networking solutions and data communications infrastructure – serving over 20,000 students and faculty. Don was responsible for directly managing system implementation, as well as project administration, including planning, budgeting, resource management and impact analysis.
Don is a graduate of Mount Ida College and served as a Helicopter Crew Chief in the United States Marine Corps.
